About The Wolery:

Our toys are aimed at 0 - 4 year old children, although some will be used longer.

 

'Toys at The Wolery' is a small family business which commenced approximately 15 years ago after my daughter had her first baby and we had trouble finding interesting well made safe, eco friendly toys.  So started the search for toys that we would like the children in our family to play with.

The toys and playthings we introduce into a child's world from infancy through the preschool years provide the stimulus for cognitive and social development.  An infant responds to the world through their senses, sucking, pulling, dropping, swatting.  By exploring and experimenting with the objects and toys available, infants construct an understanding of the world and how it works.

We strive to bring you not only the highest quality hand picked toys to best stimulate your child's learning, we also believe they should be made of the safest, and most natural materials.  Children learn through touch, taste and smell, because of this wood and organic cotton materials are loved by babies, preschoolers and their parents.  Without harmful xenoestrogen chemicals found in plastics such as Bisphenol A (BPA) and Phthalates, that have been shown to leach, parents can feel safe with the 'Toys at The Wolery'.
